Student Paper Award

NCSPP and fort da are proud to offer a $250 award for an outstanding clinical, theoretical, or research paper written by an associate member. The paper may address any clinical, theoretical, or research topic relevant to the study of psychoanalytic psychology and may not exceed 25 pages. The paper should be typed on letter sized paper, and text should be double-spaced. The associate member whose paper is selected receives $250 and gets the opportunity to present the paper at an NCSPP program.
Papers are evaluated by a committee comprised of the President-Elect, a member of the Program Committee, the Associate Members' Representative or a designated Associate Member, a representative from fort da, and the current President. The President-Elect and Associate Members' Representative together coordinate the committee. When the winning paper has been selected, the Program Committee chooses a discussant to participate in presenting the paper at a program.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, November 12, 2007, with the selection to be announced at NCSPP's Annual Holiday Party on the first Saturday in December. To express interest in submitting a paper for consideration, and to get more information, please email NCSPP's student representative.
